The one-day tour: Almaty City Tour
The journey begins with a hotel pickup and a drive to the mountains. First stop — the famous Medeu Gorge and a cable car ride to 3,200 meters, offering panoramic views of the city and glaciers. After returning to Almaty, enjoy lunch at a Kazakh cuisine restaurant, where you can try traditional dishes.
The second part of the day focuses on the old city. The itinerary includes the Cathedral in the 28 Guardsmen-Panfilov Park, the Central Mosque, the Green Bazaar with tastings of kumis and kurt cheese, the Rahat Chocolate Factory, and Independence Square.
The tour concludes with a cable car ride up Kok-Tobe Mountain: watch the sunset and enjoy an evening panorama of Almaty. In the evening, the guide will return you to your hotel or the airport.
